Interesting question. I kind of went through the same thought process after my mom died. One of my friends insisted that because my mother had never smoked a cigarette, gotten drunk/stoned, traveled outside the U.S., etc., that she hadn't truly lived. My friend couldn't seem to understand that just because all of the above are things that she or I wouldn't want to leave this life without experiencing, doesn't mean that someone who hasn't or didn't WANT to experience those things didn't have a good life...for them.

i do, however, know bullshit.

i've created somewhere north of a 100 bullshit-filled brochures hawking everything from spice-infused vodka to urine analysis machines.. (continued on site).

A tribute to Moose

our basset hound moose died this morning.

he was only 2 1/2 years old but he had addison's disease.

something caused internal bleeding and he went very quickly, which was merciful.

My Oldest Boy...

broke his big toe and tore the ligament over the bone of his toe at church yesterday.

he was playing some sort of ball with his shoes off on a mat, went to kick the ball but kicked his foot into the floor.

his toe wouldn't stop bleeding so his father took him to the hospital and just called me.

i am already thinking of ideas.

my sister had an online relationship with a man from holland (they are now married in the us) anyhow, they would send eachother packages and the coolest things he would send was different foods from there... cookies the us doesn't have, chocolate spread for toast.... this is my first gift exchange since i was a kid, so anyone have some ideas?

( is this kosher to ask?

Hambeaks Extremely Heartbreaking News

our friend hambeak just got the most dreaded phone call from his jw child.

the news was passed on as he was asked for by name and not as"dad" and let known that "they" just called to let him know that his other son, brian, age 26, is dead.

he was in a car accident.
